 City School of Languages, working with Swansea Metropolitan University (SMU), offers three International Foundation Programmes:   

• International Foundation Programme in Business      
• International Foundation Programme in Information Technology (IT)
• International Foundation Programme in Engineering

Give yourself the best possible preparation for your university studies.

Our International Foundation Programme are ideal for you if you wish to enhance your English skills whilst applying them to a specific subject of study prior to university.

If you successfully complete all the modules in a designated programme you will be entitled to a Swansea Metropolitan University Certificate of Credit. Furthermore, provided you satisfy the academic and language requirements of the subject you wish to study, Swansea Metropolitan University will permit you to enter into an appropriate undergraduate programme of study.

Length of course	30 weeks with IELTS 4.5, starting September 2011 22.5 weeks with IELTS 5.0, starting October 2011 15 weeks with IELTS 5.5, starting January 2012
Hours per week	20 contact hours & 20 hours of private study (contact hour times vary, depending on day of study and module, students are issued with an individual timetable when they join the school. All classes are held between 9.30am - 12.45pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm)
