ENGLISH FOR HOSPITALITY

What will you learn?

​

Don't let the English language barrier reduce your career prospects in the hospitality industry! 

CSL's English for Hospitality course is ideal for people who are or want to work in restaurants, catering, coffee shops and hotels and need to communicate confidently with colleagues and customer. 

 

CSL course is designed to develop industry vocabulary, deal with customers more effectively and eliminate the fear of speaking on the phone with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

What will you achieve studying at CSL?

​

  • Develop industry specific vocabulary

  • learn important topics: front of house, food and beverage, cooking equipment, kitchen instructions, food type and flavour, emails and phone communication and much more. 

  • Be better prepared and feel more confident when working in the hospitality industry

​

 

Course Information: 

  • EH28 - 28 lessons per week (morning and afternoon - full time) 

        28 lessons = 20 lessons of General English and 8 lessons of hospitality.

        General English (Monday to Friday mornings), Hospitality (Monday to Thursday afternoons)

  • You will need to demonstrate at least a pre intermediate level of English to join the course.

  • Minimum Class Size - 4

  • Maximum Class Size - 12

  • Minimum Age - 16

  • Start any Monday (except for Bank Holidays and during the Christmas break)

  • Minimum of 2 weeks enrolment

  • ON LINE courses take place on the zoom platform

  • ON LINE courses - min 4 / max 12 per class

  • Students are expected to do 1 hour of homework daily

​

Don’t have an upper intermediate level yet?

​

Don't worry!

 

You can join our General English (GE28) course to improve your level. Once you achieve the Upper Intermediate level you can be transferred to the English for Hospitality course.

​
