INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAMME (IFP)

LEVEL 3

About the programme

The IFP has been specifically developed for international students who want to study for an undergraduate degree but do not possess British A-level qualifications (Year 13). It is a full time programme and provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to embark upon undergraduate study at an overseas university.

The Level 3 IFP (L3IFDHES) is a one-year pre-university qualification which includes a significant degree of English language teaching. The qualification is designed to provide an entry route to UK and international university courses.

IThe course aims to improve general and academic English language ability, enhance study skills and cultural understanding and introduce academic study in English in the fields of the 5 pathways available: Engineering, Science, Business, Computing and Healthcare Science.

CSL is an experienced school working with international students for over 10 years supporting the achievement of their objectives. Our past students who graduated from our IFP felt they were prepared  and confident to apply to an Undergraduate course to universities in the UK. Our success stories include students who have enrolled on University A, B and C.

The IFP (NCC Education International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education – L3IFDHES) at City School of Languages is awarded by NCC Education. CSL is an accredited Partner Centre.
