OET - OCCUPATIONAL ENGLISH TEST

What will you learn?

 

Are you a healthcare professional who needs help to prepare for the Occupational English Test (OET)?

The OET (Occupational English Test) is accepted by both the UK Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and the General Medical Council (GMC) as evidence of your ability to communicate effectively and practise safely in English. The OET Preparation programmes run by CSL meets the needs of healthcare professionals in the UK who require a B grade in listening, reading, writing and speaking. By taking a OET course with CSL, you will feel more confident when you take the exam and in addition, you will be able to build the skills and knowledge you need to sit the OET exam.

Course Information: 

  •  OET 1 Week: has already achieved a minimum of 7.0 in each component (reading, writing, listening, speaking) in different IELTS tests or no lower than 6.5 in one or two components

  •  OET 2 Weeks: has already achieved a 6.0 or 6.5 in each component of the IELTS exam (but not a 7.0) OR has an overall 6.5 but has one component no lower than a 5.5

    If your overall score is lower than the levels required for entry to the OET 1 and 2 Weeks courses, please contact us to discuss how we can help you.

  • Maximum Class Size - 12

  • Minimum Age - 18

  • Start Date: Please confirm the start date 

  • ONLINE courses take place on the zoom platform

  • ONLINE courses - min 4 / max 12 per class

  • Students are expected to do 1 hour of homework daily

Please note that the course fees do NOT include the OET exam fees. You will need to book the exam at an official exam centre.
