Wales is a country in southwest Great Britain known for its rugged coastline, mountainous national parks, distinctive Welsh language and Celtic culture.

Cardiff

Cardiff is the capital city of Wales and is just an hour from Swansea by road or rail. Places of interest in include; Cardiff Castle, the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay, National Assembly for Wales, St Fagans: National History Museum and the National Museum and Art Gallery. It is also home to a very large shopping centre: St David's Dewi Sant and BBC Cymru Wales' main headquarters.

Tenby

Tenby is a picturesque seaside town located in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Extremely popular during the summer, it has beautiful blue-flag beaches and historic town walls which date back to the late 13th century. Places of interest include; Caldey Island, Carew Castle and Tenby Museum & Art Gallery.

National parks in Wales

Wales is home to three National Parks; Brecon Beacons; Snowdonia and the Pembrokeshire Coast. Unspoilt and protected natural lands, they showcase the many of the best landscapes and heritage sites in the UK. All three National Parks are extremely popular with adventure and outdoor seekers and worth a visit.
